The Ulster Museum’s collection of Irish art is one of the finest in the world. Choose from the classic oils of Sir John Lavery, the unique style of John Luke or more contemporary work.

All of our fine art oil paintings can be viewed online on the Art UK website with a selection of reproduction prints also available to purchase.

The museum holds the H&W ship plan collection. A number of ship plans have been digitised, mainly of the Olympic Class Liners including the Titanic.

Due to time and resource constraints we have had to cease any new scanning of ship plans indefinitely, therefore any new requests to digitise H&W ship plans cannot be completed at this time.

Spreadsheets of the ship plans that have been digitised can be downloaded and explored.

Additionally, we hold photographs of Belfast’s Harland & Wolff shipyard and the Titanic taken by R.J. Welch. Reproduction prints of these photographs can be purchased from our partners, Art UK, who can supply a range of sizes, both framed and unframed.
