Join the team at the Ulster Folk Museum to discover how a farming family lived and worked in the early 1900s. Farmer Robert and Farmer Pamela will introduce the class to some farmyard animals, and describe some of the jobs that had to be done by a family on a small farm at the time. Through a guided investigation of authentic domestic tools in the classroom, we will learn how food was stored and prepared in a home like Corradreenan Farmhouse, without the help of electricity. The class will get to see traditional soda bread being made on the griddle over an open fire and engage in a range of fun investigative tasks and research activities.
